This newly updated version of VirusScan Plus pleases on many levels. Though it takes a while to download in several stages, there have been lots of helpful additions. SiteAdvisor™, for example, is great; this software alerts you to websites which are phishing or contain potential dangers to your PC, and stealth mode is also a positive addition, where you can hide your presence on the Internet from potential hackers.

Your system isn’t slowed with this program and the interface is easy to use, with all the major functions in one place, where you can scan for viruses, manage quarantined files and much more, though most of these functions are run automatically anyway. Remember to set up the Advanced version, as this is where most of the tools are kept.

This is a solid performer and a good choice for essential antivirus protection
